ABOUT
THE ARTIST:
-- Cathy Peterson is a creative artist from Ventura
California, working in all mediums, and considers herself a student
of art. Formal training at Westmont College in print making, graphic
arts and sculpture. Her work is defined by exploration and trial,
mostly self taught. "I really like watching how the paint lays down,
mixing, diluting, and creating effects I've not achieved before. ART
itself is my passion, I breath it, study it, I never tire of looking
at all forms of art. Each year I study a handful of masters,
absorbing their work, dissecting their style, and incorporating
aspects into my own work."

2011 Cathy Peterson became a recognized or what is known as a
"Listed Artist" at ARTPRICE. Artprice.com is the premier database

biographies. This esteemed status puts her in the rank and file
